OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Lambs Preschool Brookfield we are committed to developing respectful relationships and value open communication with our tamariki, whanau and kaiako. We understand that family and whanau are a significant part of learning success and we encourage a partnership to support the best development possible. We appreciate that every child is unique and strive to provide the best quality care in an engaging and inclusive environment, allowing our tamariki to thrive.
We encourage turangawaewae (a place to stand) by opening our gates which blends both outdoor environments together as one. This invites all children to build on tuãkana/teina relationships, sibling interactions and kaiako relationships from both centres. Our teachers are both a partner in learning and a facilitator in the process of holistic development. Kaiako work and learn alongside the children, ensuring Lambs Preschool Brookfield is a home away from home for our tamariki. Warmth, trust and aroha are woven into the fabric of our philosophy, empowering our tamariki to become confident and capable learners.

At Lambs Preschool we provide care for children aged three to six years. Our teaching team provides our tamariki with indoor/outdoor flow so they can explore all areas of the curriculum which enables them to engage with their environment freely. This aligns with our child focused philosophy .

Our Lambs Babies Cottage is be a place your baby can come and feel at home. With small numbers and teachers already part of the family your family will be a part of ours. We provide care for babies aged six months to three years.
